GIFFARD is a French company located in the valley of the Loire, in Anger. Giffard started manufacturing and distributing syrups at the dawn of the 20th century. Four generations later, GIFFARD is still owned by the same family.
Only high-quality fruit juice concentrates are used in the production of Giffard syrups. It is of great importance for us to make sure that the fruit taste is as natural as possible. Giffard syrups are made on the basis of 100% sucrose (hand-made sugar) without any artificial additives. The syrups are characterized by bright colors, intensive aromas and a rich taste. To make sure that our syrups stay fresh, we use ultra-pasteurization, which is why Giffard products do not have to contain preservatives. Giffard syrups are made for a variety of uses: there are sweetening and spicy varieties as well as syrups meant for hot drinks or classic cocktails.
